Calm care, shared properly

Every feed, nap and nappy — calmly in one place.

Log it in two taps, one-handed, in the dark. See what actually happened today. Share it with the other parent, each on your own account.

Free · Private by default · No ads · No shared passwords

It’s 3am and you can’t remember which side.

Not because you’re forgetting things. Because you’re doing sums in the dark on four hours’ sleep, and the answer matters to someone very small.

So it goes on a notes app. Or the back of the red book. Or a WhatsApp thread with your partner that neither of you can search at 4am. And when the health visitor asks how many wet nappies yesterday, you both look at each other.

The apps that promise to fix this mostly want to predict your baby instead — sleep windows, optimal wake times, a schedule your baby has not read. That’s a second thing to feel behind on.

Bubs Daily doesn’t predict your baby. It remembers your day, so you don’t have to.

  1. Add your baby

Name, birth date, a colour. That’s the whole setup. Twins or a second baby: add them both and switch with one tap.

  2. Log in two taps

Feed, nappy, sleep, growth — straight from the Today screen, no page change. Timers run in the background, so you can start one and put the phone down.

  3. See the day, together

Today’s totals at a glance, the full history when you want it, and the other parent seeing the same log on their own phone in real time.

Everything the day actually needs.

One calm record for the first two years — and nothing you’ll never open.

The bit other apps get wrong

Two parents. Two accounts. One baby.

Most baby apps give you one login to pass back and forth, or a “family plan” that costs more. Bubs Daily gives each of you your own account, and the same baby.

Invite your partner by email and they get their own password, their own phone, their own way in. Everything already logged appears for them straight away — you don’t start from an empty screen because they joined in week six.

Log a feed at 2am and it’s on their phone before you’ve put the bottle down. Grandparents, a childminder, a night nanny — same thing, same way, and you can remove anyone’s access whenever you like.

  • No shared passwordYours stays yours. Nobody is typing your email address into a login screen.
  • Everything, from the startNew people see the full history, not just what happens after they arrive.
  • You hold the keysAccess is invited and revoked from your account, in one tap.

The record your health visitor actually asks for.

Your baby’s reviews come round at 6–8 weeks, at 9–12 months and again between two and two and a half. You’ll be asked what you’ve been seeing. Bubs Daily is building the page that answers it.

One side of A4. Weight, length and head circumference plotted on the UK-WHO growth charts. Feeds and nappies for the fortnight before the appointment. Vaccinations given and what’s next. Room for the things you wanted to mention and will forget the moment you sit down.

Not a diagnosis. Not a score. Just your own record, in the shape the appointment expects — so the ten minutes go on the conversation instead of on remembering.

It isn’t finished yet, and we’d rather say so than pretend. The daily log is live and free today.

Free. Properly free.

The daily log — feeds, nappies, sleep, growth, health records, both parents — costs nothing, and isn’t going to start.

Questions parents actually ask.

Is it really free?

Yes. The daily log is free, for both parents, with no trial that ends and no card up front. When the health-visitor record pack arrives it’ll be a paid add-on — the log itself stays free.

Can my partner and I both use it?

Yes, and this is the bit we care most about. You each get your own account and your own password, and you both see the same baby. Invite them by email from your settings; everything you’ve already logged is there for them from the first screen.

Does it work if we’re on different phones — one iPhone, one Android?

Yes. Bubs Daily runs in the browser and installs to your home screen on both, so it works the same on either. Nothing to download from a store.

Will it remind me when a feed is due?

Not in the way you might mean, and we won’t pretend otherwise. You can turn on gentle nudges — no feed in three hours, no nappy in three — and they appear on the Today screen while the app is open. They are off unless you switch them on, and they never buzz your phone in the night. Proper reminders are on the list; when they arrive they will still be off by default.

Does it tell me when my baby should sleep?

No. That’s the point. Bubs Daily shows what has happened — how long, how often, how it’s changed over six weeks — and leaves the interpreting to you and the people who know your baby. No sleep windows, no optimal wake times, no schedule to fall behind.

Does it work without signal?

Mostly. Once installed, the app opens without signal and shows what it has already loaded, so you can check the last feed from a basement flat with no bars. A new feed, nappy or sleep you save without signal is kept on your phone and sent when you next have a connection; a bar at the top says how many are waiting. Editing or deleting an entry still needs a connection, and the app tells you when you are offline rather than letting you find out at 3am.

Can I use it for twins, or a second baby?

Yes, as many as you need. Each has their own log and you switch between them in one tap. No extra charge, now or later.

Where does my baby’s data live, and who can see it?

Your log is yours. Only you and the people you’ve personally invited can see it, and you can remove anyone’s access at any time. No ads, no advertisers, no formula companies.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. Open More, then Export, and download everything you have logged as a CSV or JSON file, or print it as a plain list. It is free, it never sits behind the paywall, and it works the same if you decide to leave.

Is this a medical device? Can I rely on it?

No — it’s a record, not advice, and nothing in it replaces your midwife, health visitor or GP. If you’re worried about your baby, ring them. That’s what they’re for.

kg and cm, or lb and oz?

Either. Set it once in settings and everything follows, charts included.

Calm days start here.

Log tonight’s feed in two taps. Add the other parent tomorrow. That’s it — that’s the setup.
