About Bubs Daily
A calm daily record for the first two years, made in Britain, for the way UK infant care actually works.
What it is
Bubs Daily is a record of your baby’s day. Feeds, nappies, sleep, growth, health records, milestones and a journal, logged in two taps and kept in one place, so the answer to “when was the last one?” is on a screen instead of in your head at 3am.
Two parents, two accounts, one baby. You each sign in as yourself, and you both see the same log. Nobody types someone else’s password.
A record, not a prediction
Most baby apps want to forecast your baby: sleep windows, optimal wake times, a schedule your baby has not read. Bubs Daily does not do that, and it is not an oversight.
The app states what happened. It does not tell you what should happen next, and it does not grade the day you have had. Interpreting a pattern is a job for you and the people who know your baby — your midwife, your health visitor, your GP.
Things it will never do
- Predict a nap, a feed or a wake time.
- Score you, compare your baby with other babies, or keep a streak.
- Carry adverts, including formula advertising.
- Sell your data, or hand it to advertisers.
- Buzz your phone between 10pm and 7am.
- Claim to be a medical device, or to be endorsed by the NHS.
Made in Britain
Bubs Daily is written for the UK: nappies rather than diapers, health visitor and GP rather than pediatrician, and reviews at 6–8 weeks, at 9–12 months and again between two and two and a half. Weights and lengths can be kg and cm or lb and in, whichever you use.
What is not finished
Saying this out loud is part of the point. A new feed, nappy or sleep saved without signal is kept on your phone and sent when you next have a connection, but editing or deleting an entry still needs one. Reminders appear on the Today screen while the app is open; they do not push to your phone. The one-page record for health-visitor reviews is not finished.
When that lands, the daily log stays free. Getting your data out is already in the app, under More, and never sits behind a paywall.
